St. Petersburg, FL - GRASS ROOTS, the debut full-length feature album from up-and-coming, conscious dancehall artist Badda Skat, was released on March 6th, 2007.
Planting the seeds of consciousness in the minds of people all over the world, the time has finally come for the first sprout to reach up toward Jah light. What started as a simple riddim connection has blossomed into twelve fully evolved tunes.
Backed by Jah Roots, Springfield, Missouri’s premier reggae band, Badda Skat has put together a versatile collection spanning the entire reggae spectrum, infusing each layer with his own style of consciousness. No slackness here; just pure Rastafari roots music to uplift, inspire, and educate.
